Our story

The napkin till

On a wet Tuesday in Melbourne, three software people met for coffee that tasted like burnt toast and ambition.

Between them they had too many browser tabs, a hire calendar held together with sticky notes, a MYOB ledger that refused to match the Shopify payout, a loyalty points system that needed a PhD, and a shipping insurance quote buried in someone's email.

Someone said, “What if the apps were… smaller?” Someone else said, “And nicer?” The third person drew a till on a napkin and stacked four little tickets inside it.

That napkin became StackTill.

We are still a small team in Melbourne. We build Shopify apps the way a good shop runs a counter: one clear job at a time, a friendly face when something goes wrong, and no mystery buttons.

We make:

Hire — rentals and calendars that behave.
Books — MYOB that reconciles like an accountant hoped.
Rewards — simple discounts and loyalty without a second career.
Cover — shipping and product insurance that doesn't hide in fine print.

If your shop feels like too many apps and not enough help, pull up a stool. We've got a stack for your till.
